Devon and Torbay Music Education Hubs, South Devon Youth Jazz and Devon Youth Jazz Orchestra are delighted to present our next Devon Youth Jazz Masterclass for all young instrumentalists Grade 2+ on Friday 24 November with special guest Andy Davies!
Andy is an award-winning British trumpeter leading his own band the Andy Davies Quartet – currently the resident band at the famous Ronnie Scott’s Wednesday night jam session.
Programme:
6pm: Jazz Workshop with Andy
7:30pm: Performance for parents
7:45: Short set from Andy & house band
8pm: Finish
Andy will be supported by South Devon Youth Jazz‘s team of professional tutors Sam Massey (brass), Lewis Riley (piano), John Donnelly (bass) and Bill Massey (drums).
This event is FREE to attend for South Devon Youth Jazz or Devon Youth Jazz Orchestra (DYJO) members or those in receipt of pupil premium/free school meals/children in care, but costs £6 for non-members. All instruments welcome, we hope to see you there!
