Devon Music Education Hub invites young brass players to join us for an inspiring, interactive, and fun workshop exploring the origins of modern day brass instruments and the sounds of the past, delivered in partnership with Devon Youth Chamber Brass, and Devon County Youth Brass Band.

Queen Victoria’s Consort is one of the UK’s leading period brass ensembles, performing on authentic 19th-century instruments to recreate the rich sound of Victorian brass music. Known for their engaging performances and historical accuracy, they bring the past to life through concerts, workshops, and educational outreach.

Come and join us from 12-4.30pm on Sunday 14 September 2025 at King Edward VI Community College, Ashburton Road, Totnes TQ9 5JX with a sharing for parents/carers from 4pm. This event is open to 11-18 year olds that play any brass instrument to a Grade 4 level of ability or higher and is being offered free of charge.

Devon Music Education Hub would like to acknowledge the generous support of KEVICC for hosting this event.
