A committed, experienced musician and teacher with a passion for the arts, I have been working within the arts sector for 40 years in a variety of settings. Possessing strong leadership, management and communication skills, I work well under pressure, either alone or as part of a team, being adept at prioritising demands and meeting deadlines in addition to being inventive and adaptable to change. My working life thus far has been public/customer facing – dealing with multiple institutions, their students/staff/parents, managing, nurturing and organising a team of staff in local government and as a musical director, engaging and interacting with members in rehearsals and audiences at public engagements. I am looking for opportunities to immerse myself in all aspects of local life in my relocation to Torquay.
