Leah Curran

I started studying piano about 40 years ago and trained for seven years. I have been involved in school choirs, university and church choirs. I play the piano for church events and enjoy introducing children to the piano. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2001 from the University of Utah and an MA from the University of Kent at Canterbury. I have been working with children and young people in Exeter since 2014, not only in music, but also as a teaching assistant, language teacher, Sunday school teacher and youth group organiser. I love sharing my excitement about music with young people. I believe that having fun with the piano is essential, but just as important is gaining a solid foundation in music theory and technique.
