Andrew Davies

I’m an experienced, fully-qualified Primary School Teacher (QTS, BA 1st Class Hons) who has led Music across a number of primary schools, including writing, delivering and assessing whole-class singing and instrumental schemes (including djembe, recorder, saxophone, keyboard, ukulele and more). I have directed school performances at KS1 and KS2, run a wide variety of school choirs, instrumental and drama clubs and I’m often in demand as a private 1:1 piano teacher, with a 100% exam pass rate. I’m an award-winning children’s songwriter (UK Songwriting Competition), whose material has been performed on radio and at major venues such as Wembley Arena, London. Extremely enthusiastic, friendly, supportive and patient, I have built strong, successful ensembles and musical communities in London and the South East, and having recently moved to Devon, I would love to help your young musicians and schools achieve the same. I’ve also been a Church Organist & Choral Conductor for over 15 years (also a former KCS Organ Scholar), so I have extensive experience supporting worship in churches, church schools and hospices.
