Your voice is one of the most powerful tools you have for connecting, communicating and making music with young children.
Join Zoë Challenor, Director of B’Opera, and Charlotte Gibbs, Strategic Lead for Early Years Music, for this practical online CPD session exploring how you can make the most of your singing voice in Early Years settings, regardless of whether you think of yourself as a singer.
During this interactive session, you will:
- Discover some of the theory behind why singing matters, including how the voice can support communication, relationships, wellbeing and a sense of belonging.
- Explore practical ways to use singing to encourage participation, build connections and create engaging learning experiences.
- Develop greater confidence in using your own voice, with accessible approaches that can be incorporated into everyday Early Years practice.
- Take away ideas and inspiration to strengthen singing and music-making within your setting.
This session is suitable for Early Years practitioners, educators and others working with young children, whether you already use singing regularly or are looking to build your confidence and expand your vocal toolkit.
FREE for practitioners living or working in Devon, Plymouth or Torbay.
£6 for practitioners living and working outside these areas.
Please note: this session will not be recorded, so participants will need to attend live.
