Explore the Orchestra: Sing Out! is an exciting and interactive concert experience designed for Key Stage 2 students. Presented by award-winning composer James Redwood and featuring mezzo-soprano Fizz Buckland. This year is all about singing, using our voice and will delve into how vocalists and orchestras work together to tell stories in opera, theatre and the contemporary world.
Through engaging performances and demonstrations, students will discover how vocalists and orchestras work together to tell stories. The concert also introduces the different orchestral instrument families in an accessible and engaging way, showcasing a wide range of musical styles and genres.
Explore the Orchestra aims to inspire young people through live music, providing an enjoyable introduction to the orchestra and the many ways music can communicate ideas, emotions, and stories.
