Join Jon Galling, Senior Education Safeguarding Officer for Devon County Council, and Lewis Gibbs, Music Education Hub Lead for Devon and Torbay, lead this FREE Child Protection Level 2 training. This course is specifically tailored to the needs of Visiting Music Teachers and Music Educators working across multiple schools and settings, and is certified by Devon Education Services.
By completing this course, schools and settings where you work can be assured that you meet their statutory obligations; are trained in safeguarding pupils; and have an awareness of the different categories of abuse and safeguarding risks to pupils, as well as reminding you of your safeguarding responsibilities.
This event will take place online from 9.30-11am on Wednesday, 10 May 2023. If you can’t make it, we can provide a recording and will be offering further opportunities later in the year.
